With the craziness of Manhattan’s traffic it took almost 4 hours to get to Pennsylvania for our scheduled shoot. Gaby, his wife, site-less (not for long I hope) Caritza the make-up artist, and myself headed early in the afternoon to meet one of the sweetest couples EVER! I truly mean that… so much so that when I saw Pamela who went to meet us because somehow we couldn’t find our way (fault of the GPS of course!) I completely forgot of the stress of being stuck on the road for so long. I jumped in her car and it was like seeing a friend I had not seen in a long time.
Building a photography career takes time and it takes a lot of patience to give it the time it needs. It is a little baby that you carefully have to watch grow. As a photographer, as a newbie in this industry, you definitely find yourself disappointed and sometimes discouraged when things don’t happen as one would have hoped it would.
And then you meet amazing people like Pamela & Steven and like a breath of fresh air all hope is returned. I mentioned to Caritza that Pamela has been with me through thick and thin and I don’t really know her KNOW HER! She’s been reading my blog since I very first started posting. She read my posts about my dad when he was very sick and emailed me with lovely words of encouragement. And she doesn’t know this, until now that is
that I read her wedding blog and I am so excited for her and Steven and your wonderful journey.
Gosh, I already can tell, I’m going to be in tears the entire wedding ceremony! Pamela, I don’t have the right words, honestly, to thank you for believing in me! You’re wedding is going to be amazing and I cannot wait.
