It was the perfect day for a wedding! I was so excited for Mabel and Tay, probably as much as they were to get married. I was also very nervous, and I think that I would always be nervous, but what I loved most was that as the day progressed, as I noticed both Mabel’s and Tay’s smily faces, even during rushing hours, those nerves turned into something bigger… and better! I couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant couple and their family to work with. At the end of the day, I think that I can speak for both Astami and Gabriel who worked with me, when I say that we were both a bunch of friends and each passing moment was a great moment to document.

Yes, I just quoted somebody. It seemed appropriate

Mabel looked STUNNING in her dress. It was perfect!

When Mabel first told me that her and Tay opted for the first look, I secretly jumped for joy! I said a big loud YESS in my mind. By doing this we got extra time to capture more special moments like these. They both decided to see each other in front of a gorgeous church nearby their house. And though, there were tourists and the bridal party and other people walking by, their moment was private. It was beautiful! And then the tourists started clapping and cheering for them.
We all felt the happiness!

Tay surprised Mabel with a gorgeous ring… I love her expression!

The wedding was celebrated at the Surf Club in New Rochelle. It is a gorgeous location and I’m so thankful to them for being so incredibly helpful.

It was truly an honor to capture this day for you. I wish you both nothing but blessings in your marriage!
A huge huge thank you to my dear friends Astami and Gabriel for working with me. I could not have done it without you. Please head over to Astami’s blog to view more photos from the wedding. She’s a great photographer with a huge heart! Stay tune for Gabriel’s trailer!
Happy Thursday!
