Yesterday was one of the coolest days ever! I attended the Freedom Tour with my buddy Astami (hey girl!) and my new buddy Angie (hey hey!) and got to hear really awesome and inspiring photographers share lots of information about how they started this business and how to achieve freedom to do everything else we love. I was glued to my seat and although it was so hot and so humid I couldn’t get enough of what they were saying. I could have listened to 50 photographers speak yesterday night while under hot and humid weather conditions.
I think its fascinating when we all come together to listen and learn from everyone’s experiences. We nod our heads in unison to experiences we can relate to. We giggle because we too have been there, or is there at the moment. I felt better to know that the many fears and frustrations that I sometimes (or often) have are fears and frustrations that so many have. I just felt happy and grateful to be there. Grateful, because if you can dedicate your time to help others understand that if you continue doing what you love and work hard at it you will get where you want to be. And if you’re willing to share the tools that you use to get there so that others can find their way… well, I’m a big fan! I’m your friend and I will support you!
I finally met David Jay!
I waived at him from a distanced when I noticed he was a few chairs behind me. He waived back. He had the look on his face of trying to figure out if he had seen me before. But no, David, I just think you’re very inspiring and motivating.

I love his willingness to help other photographers and I appreciate it so much. My favorite quote from last night: “Live life to the fullest and in the midst of that how can I help others live theirs.”
I also got to meet Jessica Claire! After a short break we walked back to the sitting area and she was setting up some of her gorgeous Shootsacs. When she saw some people approaching her to say hi she said hello with a hug. Such a warm and beautiful person. I was happy to see her. She had been one of the very first photographers whose work inspired me (and continues to inspire me now) when I very first started. I was happy to hear her speak.

And guess what?

I came home with the shootsac! Isn’t it gorgeous? Isn’t my cover just beautiful? Isn’t my beagle so darn cute standing there looking so curious? I love!
We also got to hear the Boudoir Divas
They shared lots of information, especially how to make their clients feel their very best during a boudoir session. They showed photos of their studio and all I thought was I need to go to there (I know I’m lame for paraphrasing Liz Lemon, but I really had to). The studio is a girl’s dream of a studio!
I have to say though that I disappointed myself. I completely forgot to take a picture of Jim David Hicks. I didn’t do it on purpose, I was just listening so intensely that I forgot to reach for my camera! I didn’t know who he was until last night, but he is now my new best friend. I loooved him! He does so much… that I can’t even begin …I don’t know what to say, so please click here so you can see for yourself.
I’ll give you some time to get totally inspired.
Amazing, right? I’m not sure how or when, but I definitely need to be part of something like that… I need to go and see and help and be there!
He’s also the creator of Action Runner. He’s going to save my life, but I’ll let you know once I get to see the changes with this and the shootsac, so reviews will come later![]()
We also got to enjoy the lovely voice of Molly Jenson. She needs to come to NY and perform again. She’s awesome and sooo funny! Loved her!

You can check out her music here and then you can go ahead and buy her album on iTunes![]()
Aaaaah so that was my wonderful night! How was yours? I hope it was full of wonderfullness like mine!
Go and enjoy this gorgeous day now!
