Remember Aiden? He just turned one a few days ago. Can you believe that?
His mom, Michelle, had a little surprise for him. Possibly, the best surprise in the world. I’m pretty sure Aiden still thinks about that very special day when mommy took him to the park together with his aunt and a crazy lady (me).
So, you see, mommy baked Aiden a cake. A CHOCOLATE CAKE! My favorite! And probably Aiden’s favorite now as well.
SURPRISE! Aiden gets to do whatever he wants with the chocolate cake!
This makes Aiden a bit confused, however. He’s not entirely sure what “whatever he wants with the chocolate cake” really mean.
“You mean… I can touch it mommy? With my hands? And its okay?”
“And. And. And I can eat toooooo?”
“Yes Aiden, see you can even put some frosting on your belly! SURPRISE!
I’m pretty sure that Aiden’s teary eyes was a result of knowing that he was allowed to eat an entire chocolate cake… all by himself! And so it began…
He still cannot believe it! This day was probably THE BEST day of Aiden’s life.
I however, grew a bit worry. I wanted a piece of that cake, but I was sure he would soon get tired of it… so I waited.
ummmmm…
He sure knows how to tease!
Is that for me?
I love you! Aiden? Where’s my cake?
Okay, so I didn’t get any cake. But, please have you ever seen a happier baby? His life is complete. All is well now.
After getting all cleaned up, he gave mommy this look. It says: “mommy I love you! And I will never forget this amazing surprise. I’m so happy!”
