Kids are back to school, the weather insensibly brought in cooler temperatures for those who waited for September to be warmer since our summer wasn’t hot enough. I like this weather much better though.
This month, to me, always felt like the perfect time to start something new. It just seems more appropriate. More than New Year’s, at least. I think is because while I was in school at this time, I would always set goals for myself to do better, “this year I’m going to try to write all my papers days in advance” I would say. Whether those school goals were accomplished, I cannot remember, but the habit of setting them remained.
I resigned from a job where I was for six years to follow my dream and to spend time nourishing it, loving it and making it into a reality. I’m so excited that sometimes I can hardly contain myself. Oh, photography how I love you!
The journey truly begins now!

PS – Also, part of the things I like to do in September is cutting my hair. This time, I asked for bangs and I love them!
